Spring Landscaping | Goodbye April
Hello readers! this weekend me and my husband have been super busy with our new home and landscaping. After a long and wet winter we headed outside to really take a look at all of the worked that needed to be done to this place. We moved into out new home at the end of October of this past fall, and have a big long summer ahead of us. So, let the de-winterizing begin! ug... (sigh)
On a brighter side of things I'm really enjoying all of the "young living" responsibility. I know a lot of younger people my age complain about all the money used, and responsibility that comes with taking care of a new home. But, you see me and my husband couldn't be more grateful. We love the hard word, budgeting the money, and spending the time to make a beautiful home. To know how amazing it has been finding my husband, we thank God everyday for all the gifts that he places in our lives. To have everything you need, and a little more it really amazing. This past month in April, we have found we are stumbling across a lot of firsts for us. First weed eater, first macaroni salad of the summer, picking out new porch furniture, and a new grill, are some of the awesome firsts that we got to experience as a married couple. April and March have been life changing for us.
"Sometimes He has you put down old things, to bring in New things"
I couldn't have experiences a truer faith these past couple of months. Watching my husband mow our huge yard today, I couldn't help but whisper "thank you for these blessings, Lord" and smile. Not to mention my cute new gardening sneeks, in teal ;)
Hope your April Had some blessings too!
